declination
dec·li·na·tion (dek″lĭ-naґshən) [L. declinare to decline] deviation from a normally vertical position, as rotation of the eye about its anteroposterior axis so that its vertical meridian lies to the temporal (positive d.) or to the nasal side (negative d.) of its proper position. Cf. extorsion and intorsion.
