Wiggers diagram

Wiggers diagram
a graphic representation of the events of the cardiac cycle, showing the changes in a variety of physical variables over the period of a heartbeat; it includes depictions of the electrocardiogram, the pressure in the cardiac chambers and aorta, the ventricular volume, and the heart sounds, and sometimes of the aortic flow rate and the venous pulse. See illustration at cardiac cycle, under cycle.
