anxiety disorders
[DSM-IV] a group of mental disorders in which anxiety and avoidance behavior predominate. Included are panic disorder with and without agoraphobia, agoraphobia without history of panic disorder, specific phobia, social phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, acute stress disorder, generalized anxiety disorder, and substance-induced anxiety disorder.
