[TA] posterior divisions of brachial plexus: the three posterior divisions into which each of the three trunks (superior, medial, and inferior) of the brachial plexus splits (see also divisiones anteriores plexus brachialis). All three posterior divisions unite to form the posterior fasciculus of the plexus.
