Caisse, Canadian nurse, 1887–1978, who popularized the remedy] an herbal preparation, supposedly of Native American origin, used as a tea in the treatment of cancer; there are a number of variations on the original formula, which probably consisted of slippery elm bark, rhubarb root, burdock root, and sheep sorrel.
