fasciculus lateralis plexus brachialis [TA] lateral cord of brachial plexus: the lateral bundle of fibers of the brachial plexus, formed by the union of the anterior divisions of the superior and middle trunks, C5 through C7, and from which arise the lateral pectoral and musculocutaneous nerves and the lateral root of the median nerve.
