tube flap
tubed pedicle flap a type of bipedicle flap made by elevating a long strip of tissue from its bed except at the two ends, the cut edges then being sutured together to form a tube; it has largely been replaced by the free flap. Called also rope f., tunnel f., and Gillies f.
