MDRD formula
[Modification of Diet in Renal Disease] a formula for calculating a person's ideal glomerular filtration rate, drawn up by a study of the effect of restricting protein intake in dialysis patients. It has now been replaced by the abbreviated MDRD formula. Called also MDRD equation.
