iobenguane I 131
iobenguane in which a portion of the molecules are labeled with 131I, used as a radioactive tracer for diagnostic imaging of neuroendocrine tumors and disorders of the adrenal medulla. It is also used for local radiation therapy in the treatment of carcinoid syndrome, pheochromocytoma, and neuroblastoma.
