[TA] joints of pectoral girdle: the synovial joints of the pectoral girdle (acromioclavicular and sternoclavicular joints) considered together with the three intrinsic ligaments of the scapula (superior transverse scapular, inferior transverse scapular, and coracoacromial ligaments). Called also joints of shoulder girdle.
