kapha
ka·pha (kahґfah) [Sanskrit “phlegm”] according to ayurveda, one of the three doshas, or principles of constitution of the body, condensed from the elements water and earth. Kapha is the principle of stabilizing energy and governs growth in the body and mind and is concerned with structure, stability, lubrication, and fluid balance. It is eliminated from the body through the urine.
