fused kidney
a kidney anomaly, usually with crossed renal ectopia, in which there is a single anomalous organ resulting from partial or complete fusion of the renal anlagen; types include cake kidney, disk kidney, doughnut kidney, horseshoe kidney, and sigmoid kidney.
