- postâ€“kala-azar dermal leishmaniasis
- cutaneous symptoms occurring after a person has recovered from visceral leishmaniasis, consisting of hypopigmented or erythematous macules on the face and sometimes the limbs or trunk; the facial lesions gradually progress to papules or nodules that resemble those of lepromatous leprosy. When it occurs soon after recovery, it usually lasts just a short time; when it does not appear until many years later, it may last much longer. Called also dermal leishmanoid, leishmanoid, and postâ€“kala-azar dermal leishmanoid.
