mantle cell lymphoma
mantle zone lymphoma a rare form of non-Hodgkin lymphoma having a usually diffuse pattern with both small lymphocytes and small cleaved cells; it may be a subgroup of diffuse, small cleaved cell lymphoma. It mainly affects people over 50 years of age and runs an indolent course, although it may metastasize to the spleen or liver.
