small cleaved cell lymphoma

small cleaved cell lymphoma
a group of non-Hodgkin lymphoma characterized by the formation of malignant small cleaved follicular center cells; it may have either a follicular or a diffuse pattern. One type, called follicular, predominantly small cleaved cell lymphoma, is particularly common. Because of the wide variety of prognostic levels and the existence of tumors with several types of cells, these tumors have now been divided among several different groups of follicular and diffuse lymphomas.
