ash leaf macule

ash leaf macule
a hypopigmented lesion of the skin occurring in tuberous sclerosis complex, usually 1 to 3 cm in size and having the general shape of an ash leaf, round at one end and pointed at the other. Called also lance-ovate macule and ash leaf spot or patch.
