systemic mastocytosis
a condition in which there are mast cell infiltrates in noncutaneous tissues, with or without cutaneous lesions; the most common sites are the liver, spleen, bone, lymph nodes, and gastrointestinal tract. See also mastocytosis syndrome, under syndrome.
