Parafossarulus manchouricus

a species found in eastern Asia and nearby islands. It is the foremost intermediate host of the liver fluke Opisthorchis sinensis in Japan and the second most important in China, as well as a carrier of the flukes O. felineus and Echinochasmus perfoliatus.
