phos·pho·guan·i·dine (fos″fo-gwahnґĭ-dĕn) 1. phosphorylated guanidine, a high energy compound. 2. a term sometimes used to denote one of the phosphagens because these compounds are substituted derivatives of phosphoguanidine.
