4-phytase
4-phy·tase (fiґtās) [EC 3.1.3.26] an enzyme of the hydrolase class, present at a low level in ileal mucosa, that hydrolyzes excess dietary phytic acid. Formerly officially called 6-phytase, based on a different numbering system.
