plicae transversae recti
[TA] plicae transversales recti transverse folds of rectum: permanent transverse folds in the rectum, usually three in number (two on the left and one on the right), involving the tunica mucosa and tela submucosa, and the circular layer of the tunica muscularis. Called also Kohlrausch or rectal folds.
