[TA] anterior branches of cervical nerves: eight nerve branches of which the upper four form the cervical plexus and the lower four form most of the brachial plexus; see also r. anterior nervi spinalis. See illustration at ramus posterior nervi spinalis. Called also rami ventrales nervorum cervicalium [TA alternative].
