ranitidine hydrochloride
[USP] the hydrochloride salt of ranitidine, used to inhibit gastric acid secretion in the prophylaxis and treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcer, gastroesophageal reflux disease, and conditions that cause gastric hypersecretion; administered orally, intravenously, or intramuscularly.
