Saccharomonospora
Sac·cha·ro·mo·no·spo·ra (sak″ə-ro-mon″o-sporґə) [L. Saccharum generic name of sugarcane + mono- + Gr. sporos seed] a genus of gram-positive bacteria of the family Pseudonocardiaceae, consisting of thermophilic and mesophilic organisms that form a nonfragmenting, branched mycelium and produce aerial hyphae bearing single spores. The type species is S. viґridis.
