Schlesinger sign

Schlesinger sign
in tetany, if the patient's lower limb is held at the knee joint and flexed strongly at the hip joint, there will soon be an extensor spasm at the knee joint, with extreme supination of the foot. Called also Pool or Schlesinger phenomenon.
