streptomycin sulfate
[USP] the sesquisulfate salt of streptomycin, used as a tuberculostatic in combination with other antituberculosis agents, and for the treatment of certain nontuberculous infections due to susceptible organisms, including plague, tularemia, and (in combination with other drugs) brucellosis, granuloma inguinale, chancroid, and bacterial endocarditis; administered intramuscularly.
