Carpenter syndrome

Carpenter syndrome
an autosomal recessive disorder characterized by acrocephaly with polysyndactyly, brachydactyly, mental retardation, mild obesity, hypogonadism, and other anomalies. It is believed to encompass disorders formerly distinguished as Goodman syndrome (q.v.). Called also acrocephalopolysyndactyly, type II.
