Rose-Waaler test

Rose-Waaler test
an agglutination test for rheumatoid factor (RF) using tanned sheep red blood cells (SRBC) coated with subagglutinating amounts of rabbit anti-SRBC IgG antibody. These cells agglutinate when exposed to RF (anti-IgG autoantibodies) owing to cross-reaction between human and rabbit IgG.
