toxicyst
toxi·cyst (tokґsĭ-sist) [toxi- + cyst] one of the numerous toxic subpellicular organelles occurring as slender extrusible tubular structures located apically in certain ciliate protozoa, especially certain of the Kinetofragminophorea, with which the organism penetrates the body of and cytolyzes its prey.
