tuberculosis cutis tuberculosis affecting the skin; it may be from exogenous infection such as autoinoculation, or endogenous infection such as by extension of an existing infection or hematogenous spread of pulmonary tuberculosis. It can present with any of numerous clinical expressions, including lupus vulgaris, tuberculosis verrucosa cutis, scrofuloderma, tuberculous chancre, or papulonecrotic tuberculid. Called also t. of skin.
