vena cardiaca magna
[TA] great cardiac vein: a vein that collects blood from the anterior surface of the ventricles, follows the anterior longitudinal sulcus, and empties into the coronary sinus; called also v. cordis magna [TA alternative]. See also v. interventricularis anterior and see left coronary vein, under vein.
