tick-borne encephalitis viruses
a serogroup of the genus Flavivirus, consisting of viruses that are transmitted by ticks and cause encephalitis in humans and animals that ranges in severity from subclinical to fatal. It was formerly divided into Central European and Far Eastern subtypes.
