flu·ox·y·mes·ter·one (floo-ok″se-mesґtər-ōn) [USP] an anabolic-androgenic steroid used in treatment of primary and secondary male hypogonadism and delayed male puberty and in palliation of metastatic breast carcinoma in postmenopausal women; administered orally.
