hy·me·no·lep·i·a·sis (hi″mə-no-lep-iґə-sis) infection with Hymenolepis; in humans it is usually intestinal infestation by H. nana. Infected persons are usually asymptomatic, but in massive infection there may be dizziness, abdominal pain, diarrhea, insomnia, convulsions, and other symptoms.
