Noguchia
A genus of aerobic to facultatively anaerobic, motile, peritrichous bacteria (family Brucellaceae) containing small, slender, Gram-negative, encapsulated rods. These organisms are present in the conjunctiva of humans and other animals affected by a follicular type of disease. The type species is N. granulosis.
