sal·i·cyl·an·i·lide (sal″ĭ-səl-anґĭ-līd) any of several compounds usually prepared by the interaction of salicylic acid and aniline; some are anthelmintics and others are topical antifungal agents. See closantel, niclosamide, oxyclozanide, and rafoxanide.
