Tassinari syndrome

Tassinari syndrome
A form of epilepsy that emerges around the age of four. The first signs are slowed learning, and receptive and/or expressive dysphasia. Absence, myoclonic, and focal seizures may be seen. The cause of Tassinari’s syndrome is unknown. Treatment is with anti-seizure medications. This condition usually improves significantly by adulthood. See also epilepsy, seizure disorders.
