[DSM-IV] an impulse control disorder characterized by multiple discrete episodes of loss of control of aggressive impulses resulting in serious assault or destruction of property that are out of proportion to any precipitating stressors; behavior in between such episodes lacks impulsiveness or aggressiveness.
