Gleason grade
the grade (from one to five) given to an area of prostate cancer, reflecting the level of differentiation of the tumour. Higher grades indicate poorer differentiation.

a rating of localized cancer of the prostate that assigns scores of 1 to 5 for degree of primary and secondary growth, with undifferentiated and destructive types having higher scores. Called also Gleason score.
