Hürthle cell tumour

Hürthle cell tumour
a malignant tumour of the thyroid gland that arises from Hürthle cells, large eosinophilic cells occasionally occurring in the gland. This carcinoma is not as common as papillary, follicular, or anaplastic thyroid carcinomas.
