ad·a·man·tane (ad″ə-manґtān) 1. a saturated hydrocarbon consisting of four fused cyclohexanes, having a camphorlike smell and subliming at room temperature. 2. (pl.) a group of antiviral drugs related to this compound, used in prophylaxis and treatment of influenza A.
