Paramphistomatidae
A family of parasitic trematodes characterized by large fleshy bodies with a large posterior sucker; included are the genera Paramphistomum, Gastrodiscoides, and Watsonius.

Par·am·phis·to·ma·ti·dae (par″am-fis″to-matґĭ-de) the paramphistomes, a family of parasitic trematodes. Most (such as genera Calicophoron, Cotylophoron, and Paramphistomum) infest primarily ruminants, but genera Gastrodiscoides and Watsonius also cause paramphistomiasis in humans.
